Hamilton's in some

serious s**t

Literally. Too many dog owners aren’t doing their duty, when their dog does theirs.

– Actual headline from The Hamilton Spectator

Great Question

It’s one we’ve been pondering for a long time. And with seemingly nothing being done about it, we’re calling on the community to take fecal matters into our own hands.

The Issue

Hamilton’s public spaces are polluted with excessive amounts of dog excrement, but there’s no effective way to actually enforce the bylaws and curb this long standing issue.

The Challenge

Negligent dog owners don’t pick up after their dogs because they know the likelihood of them getting reprimanded is slim. They think there’s no one “watching” them.

The Solution

Let’s come together as a community and call people out on their s**t.

5.

Take S**T into your own hands.

When you see someone not picking up after their dog, call them out on their s**t and file a complaint with the City (or pass them a doggy bag).

Not picking up your dog’s poop is pretty selfish. There, we said it. So we’re asking Hamiltonians to get their s**t together and be a good neighbour.
